"Loved the hotel and the staff were fantastic. Also very nice touch with the freezer at reception allowing the guests to grab complimentary ice lollies and ice whenever they needed it in this current heat wave. The only slight niggle I had was the extra £10 charge to use the swimming pool which could do with a bit of a spruce up. The hotel is wonderful though and will definitely stay again but probably wouldn’t bother with the Spa. The town is also beautiful so the hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy all the local amenities."

"Very well located hotel very close to cafes, restaurants, bars. Staff extremely helpful and efficient. Room spacious and clean. Bathroom well maintained. Breakfast and evening meal were plentiful and very well cooked."

"Lovely 2 night stay. Reception staff very friendly. Breakfast was good quality. Enjoyed the spa. Dinner in the restaurant was disappointing. Booked a table for 2 at 8pm and later decided could we push it forward but was told no due to the restaurant being fully booked. Fair enough. Then when we sat our table for our booking we were told there would be a 30 minute wait for food. Annoying. When sat at our table people being sat at their tables later than us were being served by the waitress before us. Aggravating. I decided to go to the bar and grab some drinks and saw people not booked for the restaurant ordering food via the bar! Infuriating! This pissed me right off and I just wanted to get out of there so I skipped starter and desert. I had a burger which was fine. Wife had a curry which was bland. It really did spoil things."

"Iris hotel is our go to location when visiting Llandudno. Right on the seafront, convenient, clean and straightforward. It provides just what we need, somewhere to get washed, comfortable and have a good night's sleep and act as basecamp for our little breaks in the area."

"Room was nice and clean, though the bathroom especially was a bit tired. Parking in the pub is very limited and was often full, though on-street seemed fairly readily available. Breakfast bacon roll is best avoided."

"I stayed for to nights staff really helpful x polite,if rest of hotel looks like dining room when renovated will be amazing. Breakfast was best I've had,wondered what was coming to with scaffolding round but work needs doing so good luck, will come back again"
