"We stayed at One Hotel in Hawaii for the first time and overall, our vacation was great and the hotel itself was excellent. However, we were a bit disappointed with the staff. My husband’s birthday was coming up and I mentioned it several times in advance, but they made a lot of mistakes. They brought the cake on the wrong day, and when the actual day arrived, I had to remind them. They also congratulated me instead of my husband. At checkout we were also charged $70 for items from the minibar that we never used, which was quite unpleasant to see from a hotel of this level. I contacted the hotel about these issues afterward but unfortunately did not receive a clear response. Please be attentive and double-check your final bill."

"The room was spectacular! The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating! When we had to check out at 5AM they told us to not worry about waiting and to head out! It was streamlined and peaceful! The pool was AMAZING! We sat in the hot tub for over an hour watching the stars. "
