"Basically everything was broken or dirty because of “maintenance and upgrades”. None of that was advertised or mentioned when booked. No working ice machines… no pool you can use because it’s being renovated in summer for some reason… no functional breakfast somehow… Room was dirty. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone right now"

"Great location and view. This place is in desperate need of maintenance. Sketchy parking procedures. I have no issue paying for parking but it was in no way attached to my stay. All beachgoers paid for the same spots. Also, no mention of paid parking on the website or Expedia felt dirty."

"I loved the property. We have stayed many times. We are also members. This time we had rude employee named Stephanie and she had a bad attitude and made us wait 20 minutes in the lobby, until I called the hotel and told her we were in the front. She charged us $46 with text for two because she said it was early check in. It was 15 minutes before 3pm. She also denied us a first floor and have us two rooms in the 2nd floor all the way in the back. My group is over 62 years old and we had difficulty going up and down the stairs with our luggage. Today a wonderful sweet lady named Nancy helped us as much as she could. Nancy that was using one hand only because she had surgery in the other way working hard to help us and other people coming to check in and out."

"They don’t want you to bring any alcohol into the pool area, which is weird for a hotel. The overall hotel and property is clean and maintained because there seems to be plenty of staff there and available. There’s parts of the hotel that seem a little bit aged in need repairs. For example, our bathroom floor seemed like it had water damage and was a little squishy which seemed like an issue they need to be jumping on."

"I regularly frequent this property I always look forward to coming down to the island and as it stands now and has been this way for years this is the only place I want to stay at Puente Vista has the perfect location and the views are priceless it is peaceful clean and quiet I enjoy seeing all the bird life and fishing off one of the many docks scattered throughout the property including behind your personal condo. These are very well maintained condos and the beach is just down the street a few blocks off the main drag. Everything in the unit is easy to operate tvs the kitchen perfect size everything modern comfortable furniture and beds a/c works great when needed"
