Diamond Head Inn

"Great location! Lots of good restaurants around. Quiet rooms and very clean. We got a full beach experience staying there. The only drawbacks were parking, but there isn't a lot of parking at PB anyway. The good thing is there's 3 properties to choose from to park. We naver had to park more than a block away for parking. The rooms came with a decent size fridge and two burner hot plate. But you need to bring your own cookware and kitchen ware. We had our windows open alot when it was cool. They allow pets. Decent internet and we were very comfortable. Good location for a beachside property and if you plan on spending lots of time at the beach and boardwalk."

"Overall a great place to stay. The carpeting in the hallway needs to be replaced. First impression not good based on that but the room was updated and clean. We had upstairs neighbors jumping and making noise in the evening. Front desk responded appropriately both nights and it stopped. Parking is close but crowded in."

"This was a great place to stay. Having a small kitchen with 2 queen beds was perfect. We didn’t drive our car once while there Because It’s very close to the beach, yummy food and awesome stores. There were 2 things that could’ve been a been better, the internet speed and the water pressure in the showers. Even with those 2 small things we really enjoyed our stay."

"We have stayed at Capri by the Sea multiple times throughout the years and have never had a bad experience. Our favorite thing about it is location at the end of the boardwalk on Pacific Beach. Every condo has a wall of windows with a patio door in the middle that opens facing the ocean. We get to see, smell and hear the ocean but are far enough back that we don’t get the people noise. You literally walk across the sidewalk then down the stairs to the beach. Every condo we have rented came with beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. Some even came with boogie boards! You get a lot of value for your money. Another plus is free parking in the lower levels of the building. We have never stayed at the same condo twice but each one was everything you would want to make your stay memorable. There are many places to eat within blocks and a Ralph’s grocery store about 6 blocks away and a CVS drug store next to it. A little but of heaven on earth to us"
