"A good hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance to Covent Garden and Westminster, steps from the Embankment tube. Worth booking for the location alone.
Staff were attentive and kind. The hotel feels polished and upscale without being stuffy or dated, and the basics, air conditioning and shower, all worked as they should.
A few downsides: the elevator was slow, leading to some long waits. Walls are thin enough to hear neighbors. The standard double bed was two twin mattresses pushed together, which was genuinely uncomfortable. I’m not usually picky about beds, but this was bad. No view either unless you pay extra for a river-view room.
Would visit again, but in a different room."
