"Unacceptable and uninhabitable conditions!
While the room itself was an adequate size and included a refrigerator, microwave, and burners, there were no pots, pans, or utensils provided, making these amenities unusable. The bed was smaller than expected, the pillows were extremely flat, and the towels were mismatched and appeared dingy rather than clean.
However, the most serious issue was the complete lack of running water for the majority of our stay. We only had water on the first night. After that, there was no running water at all, and on the one occasion it briefly returned, it was ice cold. This made basic hygiene impossible.
The staff, while polite, were unable to provide any meaningful updates or solutions. We were repeatedly told “it will be on later,” but it never was. We were also informed that a plumbing company had been fired, but no timeline for resolution was given. When we asked about compensation, we were told that only a manager—who was out of town—could authorize it.
The only accommodation offered was a 5-gallon bottle of water so we could manually flush the toilet ourselves. This is not an acceptable standard for any hotel stay.
The lack of running water alone made the room uninhabitable and constitutes a serious breach of basic hospitality standards. Given these conditions, I am requesting a full refund for my stay."
