"This is not an hotel, but rather a bed and breakfast - a very nice one!!!! Rooms are very nice, nicely decorated but a bit awkward configuration. Includes a private small pool and a big breakfast! The best thing it’s the concierge 24/7 service. People and staff are always looking into how to make your stay better!!! They are great!! Quite new and taxis may note yet know where it is, but easily found in maps."

"This hotel is at an amazing location. It’s close to a very famous Hu Tong, which is Tong Luo Gu Xiang. Only a few minutes walk, then you can easily spend a few hours walking up and down the Hu Tong, with lots of shops and food on each side. I am amazed how this hotel is located in the center of the city, but the night is absolutely quiet. The hotel staff is excellent. "This hotel in central Beijing caters to western travelers. It is convenient, clean, well equipped with a gym and laundry room. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is well stocked with a great variety. It is an older hotel; the spaces show that age - but it is a good value - recommended for upper mid-level vacationers in Beijing."

"Classic five-star hotel with great staff service and excellent room furnishings. However, having stayed at many other hotels in China, there were a few disappointing points regarding some essential complimentary services that many modern China hotels now commonly offer. Firstly, there were no washing machines, dryers, or complimentary laundry services available. Secondly, the hotel does not use delivery robots, meaning all takeaway orders must be collected personally from outside the hotel entrance. Thirdly, during our 4 days and 3 nights stay, the staff informed us that the complimentary soft drinks in the minibar (such as Coke) were only free for the first round for the entire stay, rather than replenished daily. Fourthly, we chose an upgraded room facing the Forbidden City (故宫), which we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately, the actual view was very distant and quite small, while the room itself also felt relatively compact considering the price paid. Overall, it is still a good, classic five-star hotel with professional staff and quality furnishings. However, for the price paid, the overall complimentary service felt rather stingy compared with many other luxury hotels in China today. The management style feels quite traditional and not fully aligned with the newer service standards many modern China hotels now provide, so we probably would not choose to stay again."

"The hotel was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The beds were genuinely comfortable — a highlight of the stay. The one area for improvement was breakfast: the flavor was underwhelming, though I won’t fault the limited selection since the hotel wasn’t particularly busy during my stay, and over-preparing would only lead to waste. That said, the quality of the food itself could certainly be better. The fitness center was impressively large and well-equipped. The hotel shuttle to the airport was also a convenient touch. Overall, a satisfying stay."
