"Called 3 times requesting an early check in as we were in town for a wedding. Said they would call by 1:00 and never did. We just chose to show up and try to check in and all our paperwork and keys were ready so we felt ignored and not prioritized. Also unfortunate that their pool bar opens at 4:00 and not sooner for those enjoying the amenities during the daytime. Hotel room we stayed in took almost 5 minutes for hot water and the tub clogged and didn’t drain properly. Unplugged my hair straightener from the wall and the plug sparked. Obviously older electric from whoever previously owned this hotel before it was renovated. Absolutely no lighting on the walls to help with getting ready/makeup for women. One ceiling light and an older floor lamp in the corner. Bed was comfy but bed frame is one of those cheap metal fold-in-half frames. For the price of the stay versus $50 or so more elsewhere; we will stay elsewhere next time we’re in NM."
