"The main problem with this hotel is that the front desk is badly understaffed. They've got only one girl working the desk at a time. As a result, when I arrived by plane and called, no one answered. So, I called Wyndham itself, and that was a true nightmare. The answer bot could not find my reservation, refused to give me another number for the hotel, claiming it was "confidential" and gave me a very hard time about transferring to a real person, delaying and delaying, advising me that it could handle my issue or I could find my answer on the website.
Finally, I was transferred to human customer service. I waited, waited and waited and, after 20+ minutes of waiting, gave up. I ended up calling hotels.com, and the local hotel front desk did pick up the phone for them. Caller ID. They cross connected me and I got to the shuttle bus and the hotel after about an hour delay.
I checked in. The first room was inundated with a huge concentration of insecticide. No one had bothered to air it out before assigning it. At the front desk, I explained that I was choking from the insecticide. This same women, who didn't answer my initial calls did not apologize. Instead she seemed irritated, and mechanically gave me a new key & rm. # without saying a word.
Bad experience. Not recommended."
