10/10 Excellent

"The day we arrived we were treated to a wine and cheese reception which was very nice. There was both a hot and cold breakfast which was very nicely presented and delicious. Coffee was made to order. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were small but we made do. The friendly atmosphere and the great location made up for it."

"A lovely scent greeted us as we entered the reception area. The hotel is well equipped and modern. Our room was lovely and spacious & the breakfast was good. We really liked the lounge/bar area and the fact that you could grab a Starbucks coffee & snack. The car park was very spacious and the gym was well equipped & had good air conditioning. We found the air con in the room worked well and the big shower was lovely. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. It was a great base for Cribbs Causeway or for the Scouting activity centre. We really enjoyed our stay here & would definitely return."

Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel

4/10 Poor

"When we arrived we were to early for checking in, so we dropped our bags off with the helpful staff and went out. We got back early evening and went to the restaurant for a meal, which was very good. By the time we got to our room at around 10.00pm I turned on the air conditioning as the room was very hot, but it didn't work, so I opened the window to find it only opened approximately 50mm and the noise from the bar/fast food across the road ment it was a long hot sleepless night."
