Hotels near North Beach

"Restaurants are very good especially one on top floor. But rooms could use an update - we had a stained couch in our room. Either remove yhesr couches or get them deep cleaned. Rooms also old carpets and old bathroom fittings. Could really be a nice hotel if upgrades happened. "

"Spent the weekend with our young kids. Amazing view of the bay (amazing sunrise view) and we could hear the sound of the waves despite being on the 5th floor which was quite soothing. The room was small with a balcony but was quite comfortable. The cookies provided at check-in were delicious. Breakfast is paid (we paid for one day and it was alright) and we had to pay about $27 for two days of parking. The best part is that the beach is right outside the hotel and the USS lexington museum is 5 minutes away by walk. Restaurants are about 10 minutes away in Portland. Indian Pointe Park had amazing sunset views and it was about 10 minutes away too. Overall great stay and we are glad we chose to stay at Double Tree. "

"The whole building should be condemned. It's not safe. They're doing construction and have everything out even though it's a hazard. The lights constantly flickered on and off. The elevators didn't work, so my handicapped mother had to walk up the flight of stairs on her broken ankle. The cabinet in the bathroom fell on her when she got up from using the toilet. There was multiple holes in the wall where the cabinet was hanging. It was very unsafe. The air conditioner frozen up during the night, so it was so hot in the condo. "
