"Only stayed the one night, used as a base to go to the Open Air Theatre, but everyting was more than accomodating to our needs, super comfy bed, friendly staff and quiet to."
"Lovely designed rooms, felt very expensive and a touch of elegance too with bath salts robes etc…
Situated in a beautiful village with a lot of history, convenient to Scarborough too, a 40 min walk or a 4 minute drive away from the north side coast. "
"First class hotel in a lovely area with fabulous staff.
I work away from home 11 months of the year.
This hotel is one of the best.
Highly recommended by me.

"I liked the location of the hotel I liked the room it was a family room with everything you needed in the room staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable "
"Hotel service was excellent from dropping the bags off to checking out. They were so accommodating for dogs nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and the free tea and coffee was great"
"We enjoyed a great 5 days at The Sands. The accommodation was spacious enough for the three of us (2 adults and a toddler). The kitchen is well equipped for self catering but there are plenty of restaurants and takeaways within close proximity. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. It is a fantastic location, with the gorgeous beach just a few steps away. Despite staying in peak season, it was really quiet at night and the livelier South Bay can be reached by bus or foot (if you like a walk). There are lots of toddler friendly points of interest near by such as the North Bay Railway, Splash park and Sealife Centre."
"Great host lovely ensuite room fantastic location especially if going to the outdoor theatre. Breakfast at the cafe 2 doors down was lovely. Definitely stay again "
"The staff were fantastic and this place accommodated us last minute and made us feel very welcome. fanstastic hotel wont use another on our scarborough visits now. "
