"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended."

"The Club Deluxe room makes travelling with a baby and a pram a breeze. You have so much room!
The room was fantastic, very clean, huge comfy bed, great facilities. We've booked again for Easter."
"A truly wonderful stay over the festive period. The new spa is lovely and room 452 was SO quiet and spacious, highly recommended.
The only downside which I pointed out two years ago is that the shower lets the room down as it’s not powerful enough and looks dated too. A short taxi ride or lovely walk into the centre with everything you could wish for. Please note valet parking is £39.50 and the Soa £45 per person in addition to the room. Concierge and FOH staff are very attentive. Breakfast is wonderful, so many choices including à la carte at no extra cost. "
"Breakfast was the best, poor quality sausages only 1 coffee machine working poor quality coffee and only half cups poured
I cant understand why quality hotels use feeble machines "
"Great staff, clean and comfy room. Requested extra desk lite and did not have to ask twice! Just appeared! Loves the call and collect and great pizza!"
"Small traditional family run hotel. Comfortable and convenient. On site parking and short walk to city centre. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfasts."
