"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The baths were nice, the place was super clean. Transportation to get there is a bit difficult, but that I think is what makes this place attractive, since it's in such a nice, quiet part of Japan. Going there during the Sakura season was amazing too. "

"I recommend Genjikoh for the amazing Japanese experience of enjoying the open bath overlooking the ocean and the various activities in the hotel such as the scent workshop. We booked a room for 5 and it was spacious and was pleasantly surprised it has 2 toilets. The sea view was breathtaking. "Our family of four had a wonderful 2-night stay. The staff are exceptionally helpful and the rooms are very clean. We especially loved the lobby area—it's very spacious and kept our two young kids entertained for over an hour with board games and origami! The Japanese breakfast is also a must-try; it's delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back!"
