"Slight hiccup initially of getting a room with car park view instead of a lake view room which I had booked and paid for in advance. But they changed the room on the second day of my stay (I stayed there for 3 nights in total). Food is good and the onsen was nice too . I also tried the private onsen which had a view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. The observatory on the roof top has a great view of the lake and Mount Fuji, which was nice "

"I loved the bath. It was so hot and steamy. The traditional Japanese rooms were exactly what I was looking for for my stay in Japan. As we were leaving, the sweet host gave us hot tea to warm our hands on our cold walk to the bud station. When I got to the bus the station, I realized I left my hat. "Hotel is about 15min walk away from Gotemba station, and pretty convenient overall. You get a pretty good view of Mt Fuji right outside the hotel, weather permitting. Hotel is near a 7-11, Uniqlo, AEON and Daiso, making it easy to get necessities. Food options are walkable around! Overall pretty good and quiet place around Mt Fuji. "
