Quiet but walkable to downtown Nice and other attractions. Pool and pool area was very relaxing and quiet as well. Staff members were very helpful and always had a smile to make our stay memorable.

My daughter and I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel du Petit Palais! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the quiet elegance of this beautifully maintained property nestled above the city. The hotel itself is full of character, with stunning views over Nice and a peaceful, boutique feel that makes you feel instantly at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated — a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing along the French Riviera. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, offering thoughtful recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the lovely pool area — tranquil and uncrowded, with just the right amount of sunshine and shade. It was the perfect place for a relaxing dip in the afternoon. The location is quiet and residential, which we loved, yet still close enough to reach the city center, beaches, and Old Town with a short ride or a pleasant walk. We truly appreciated the balance of accessibility and serenity. This stay was one of the gems of our trip, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Lovely hotel in a beautiful area of Nice Cimiez. While room and bathroom was small, it was well appointed and we made it work. Would definitely return. Breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Very friendly staff. Amazing buffet breakfast ….would go back just for the breakfast!! We arrived late after a very long travel day. Felt immediately relaxed, had a good nights sleep and enjoyed a walk around the beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great boutique hotel in a good location

Great hotel in a quiet but accessible location. Easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. Throughly enjoyed my stay and was impressed with the quality of the room and the service. The only minor thing is that room service food wasn’t enjoyable at all and blackout curtains in the room weren’t wide enough to fully block out the light.
