The Chart house is located in a wonderful historic residential district. Great eateries and shopping are easy and safe to walk to. The room and bathroom were very clean. Nice place to be.

Great Stay

This was one of the best B&Bs that I have ever stayed in. The owner was so responsive to all my requests... and to have free coffee in the room and free parking right in downtown Newport was awesome.

The property is in a prime location, and we found it very easy to walk to all of our favorite spots. We absolutely loved our room (we were in the Jane Pickens) and found it very spacious. Check-in was easy and Nicole was very helpful. Honestly, I never write reviews, but I couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary weekend. I will absolutely be staying here again.

This place is a perfect blend of historic charm and cozy comfort. It was great for my mother/daughter weekend trip! The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the location is ideal—just a short walk from Newport’s downtown. Also, parking is free and eliminated the stress of having to find a spot. Highly recommended!

Great B&B in Newport

Fantastic bed & breakfast. Walking distance to everything Newport has to offer. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was spacious and very clean. Very quiet. Hosts were great. Will be back.

Amazing!

Lovely, clean and inviting B&B. We stayed for one night in a suite and throughly enjoyed it. It was comfortable and quiet and convenient walking distance to everywhere we needed to go. Breakfast was beyond our expectations! We cannot wait to stay again.

This is a great place to explore Newport. We walked everywhere except for the cliff walk and that was worth driving to. Enjoyed the inn and breakfast was great! Room was comfortable and bed was firm, could have used a coffee table in front of the couch and the refrigerator made it a little awkward moving around the bed, but all in all it was great!

The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Our room had a sitting area but only for 1 person. It needed another chair, so 2 people can sit. The hospitality, and amenities definitely could have been much better. Certain amenities on website are only offered certain times of the year and your rate dictates if you get a breakfast. That was a huge disappointment. We stayed at many B&B’s before. This was just average.

The room was so tiny it was shocking. The pictures on line are taken with a very wide lens! Not enough room to put two overnight bags out and the bed was very uncomfortable. Extremely small shower stall.. Noise from people in hall and neighboring rooms also made it feel not very private. In the morning the breakfasts were delicious but the coffee was slow to come out and refills were only half cups for some unknown reason!
