"The hotel car park was full, so had to park on Old Quarry Road, which was a five minute walk.
The reception smelled nice and the staff were friendly and quick to serve us.
The WiFi was very good.
The room view was ok; the building opposite, but not terrible.
The room itself was fine, the table was worn and looked tired, the bath was also looking old. The whole room was clean. The air trickle vent was snapped and damaged, this didn’t look great.
There should have been some USB ports to use, as opposed to normal plugs.
The telly was good, the bed was clean and comfortable and the AC was good.
The shower and bath worked well and the kettle and iron were fine but awkward to fill the kettle and the ironing board needs replacing, it’s the lumpiest thing since my grandma’s gravy.
The breakfast was ok; tasted fine, I would say start the cleaning cycle on the machine after the guests leave and the latte coffee spirts milk all over, this hurt my hand.
The bar was fine, and the snack cupboard also was a nice feature."
