Host was very understanding and very helpful when we requested a late check out due to our flight being delayed. Property had everything we needed and more. Definitely a romantic getaway to celebrate our engagement. Also, very close to bus terminal as well as train to the airport and NYC. Will definitely book again.

Accommodation is basement apartment in home. Stairs to accommodation steep with mats on them more a trip hazard than traction. Space was clean and simple amenities available. Parking was street parking on a busy street. Ok location for short stay only.

Cozy and romantic are the proper words here. I can tell the host(s) made a huge effort to make the space welcoming and set a lovely mood for their love nest hideaway. Clean and well equipped, private, and pretty secure. Just a few things to keep in mind: The location is quite busy, and street parking is available but in high demand. The property itself is very private and nicely done up in the back. Just be careful of narrow and steep areas, including the gate to the apartment, and the stairs. Getting in was easy, and the host was waiting to greet us when we arrived. The front door opens to a steep, narrow staircase. There’s a door to the inside at the bottom. The accommodations were nicely appointed and well kept. Be mindful of low ceilings! We made great use of the tub, but I advise to start the water a bit ahead of time. The faucet is smaller for the size of the tub. All in all, this was a good getaway for a short stay, comfortable, clean. There’s a lot of warmth and effort put in to making it a welcoming space.

We could not gain access to the property. We did not stay there. Wotif sent us contact details for the property and gave us a number to call 48 hours before we arrived at the property. We called that number from 3 days before we arrived. No answer and no response to our left voicemails When we arrived in the cold and pouring rain we continued to call the number. We decided to cal Wotif and three agents kept hanging up on us.One agent said that they tried to cal the property ant got no response. Aha.. a scam. Cost me 1700 dollars Australian. In the pouring rain I called a cab to take me and my wife to the Courtyard Marriott at 858 Broad street Newark. We decided to spend the week at the Marriott. What a bad experience with Wotif. I do not recommend this to anyone. Check who you are booking with. Do not get caught out like I did. It cost me $1700.00 Australian. I am hoping Wotif will reimburse me for that because I have already paid through them.
