My husband and I had such a great experience staying at the Virgin Hotel in New Orleans! The hotel was incredibly clean, which is always a top priority for me. I also loved the location. It’s in a perfect area that isn’t overly crowded, yet still within walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and popular spots. The staff was attentive and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, the hotel itself is absolutely adorable with so many cute photo opportunities throughout the property. I truly enjoyed my stay and can definitely see this becoming my go-to spot for my annual visits to New Orleans!

The aesthetics of the hotel were very beautiful, stylish, and hip. The staff was nice, and the downstairs lobby bar had a fun atmosphere. Overall, the hotel itself was nice. My only issue was with the room view. I booked a king room with a city view and was under the impression that I would at least be able to see the street from my room. Instead, the view overlooked the backs of other hotels and buildings, including air conditioning units and service areas. I also didn’t think the minibar setup was necessary. The beverage fridge was stocked with bar items, which felt unnecessary, especially since there’s a grocery store and drugstore directly across the street in New Orleans. That space could have been better used for a microwave or an empty mini fridge for guests to store their own beverages and snacks. The upstairs bar and pool area were nice but very small. If you want a good spot by the pool, you definitely need to get there early. Despite those things, I still enjoyed the hotel and thought it had a great vibe overall.

I don't like the fact that you pay an additional 29.95 a day resort fee and then have to pay $25 a day to reserve a lounge or cabana by the pool. Pool is tiny. TV streaming was stopped working. They sent someone did not solve problem. This is a very cool hotel. The stall was super nice. I liked that they give you a $15 dollar credit for the mini bar if you skip the room cleaning.
