Check in instructions were clear and the Sonder team was available (via the app) with any questions I had however the accommodation could be greatly improved with a few simple adjustments. The full kitchen lacked tea towels (only paper towel was provided) and it was really hard to keep the apartment clean over a 12 night stay when not even a broom or dustpan and brush were provided. They charge guests for cleaning. Which is ridiculous because during a 12 day stay that should be included. Otherwise provide guests with the tools to keep it tidy! Washing machine was not efficient, laundry did not come out super clean, I had to request laundry detergent as the packet was empty (this should have been checked before a new guest's arrival). Great location though and decent value for money. Did not like the lack of natural light in the bedrooms. Luckily I was out most of the time.

Great place to stay. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and was in a great location. It was just across Canal Street from Bourbon street. We really enjoyed our stay. Plan on staying there next time we go to New Orleans.

I didn't like the location because it was homeless people everywhere and we seen rats in the streets. Outside of the door going outside to the streets was filthy. Also the dryer to dry clothes needed to be cleaned. The filter was stuffed and backed up. It took forever to dry out clothes

The place was very nice and large. The apartment is not noise proof at all. The sound coming from the hall outside felt like it was inside the apartment. At 3:30 in the nothing someone was emptying the garbage and it woke everyone up. The sound from people walking in the apartment above us was also an issue since they were still up past 1am. Loved the tall ceilings and convenience to French quarter...1 block from Bourbon Street. 2 washrooms was a plus too. Overall a nice place but not noise proof.

It’s was a clean, and in a very good location , I felt safe Everything was good, probably the only thing is making sure you have everything you need to stay there, also in the master bedroom I couldn’t cut on the lights without the fan, and in one of the bathrooms there is nowhere to put your clothes or toiletries

My stay was switched last minute as the original property that was rented has technical issues that were discovered prior to my arrival, Sonder was very prompt with getting me switched and making sure my stay was comfortable, my only complaint was a smoke alarm(s) that sounded off for about 12hrs overnight before someone was able to fix the issue, once fixed my stay was enjoyable

Great location close to a bunch of restaurants. We felt safe but be cautious it is in the center of canal where it turns to Bourbon. Apartment was great. Plenty of dishes. No tvs in the rooms as we thought it showed in the pics which was very disappointing. There wasn’t a lock on one of the bathroom doors but we fixed that ourselves. Clean other than the living room rug that sheds a lot. Very itchy rug. Unfortunately we did see cockroaches. They are all over the city, we just never expected to see them in the apartment.

The Sonder Gallier was a great option for my extended family. Everyone had their own room and two large bathrooms to share. The in room laundry was well- utilized. The kitchens and bathrooms had everything we needed. I brought toilet paper and paper towels, but didn't need them. The Gallier Restaurant right next door nakes a great "hotel" restaurant, offering brunch and dinner. There are a number of restaurants nearby offering everthing from cheap eats to fine dining. There is a grocery store on one corner and a CVS on the other. Many places are open 24 hours. The St. Charles and Canal St. Street cars are right outside your door, offering (now air-conditioned!) public transportation to mid-city, City Park, Uptown, Ceaser's Casino, the Riverwalk, the Aquarium, the Audobon Zoo, and the French Quarter all thd way to the French Market. The location on Carodelet just off Canal offers easy walkable access to Bourbon Street bars, Royal Street antiques,, and all the shopping, dining, and entertainment of the French Quarter. Great location. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet, tho small. The living area has large windows facing the street, so it picks up street noises, especially the passing street cars, but it's the sounds of the city. The building is safe and secure, and the surrounding area is consists of commercial buildings typical of a downtown, hotels, tourists, and the usual trappings of an urban downtown area, so practice normal caution while walking the streets.
