"The Lane Retreat is an incredible experience, and has become our go-to stay in the Hunter Valley. It's incredibly peaceful, with gorgeous views over the vineyard. Easy to find, and well located within a short drive of many restaurants and wineries. Thoroughly recommend!"

"We had a really lovely stay. The staff at check in were polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the area as we visited from interstate. The grounds were kept beautifully maintained, there were a few different options within close range for meals and within short driving distance to a lot of the vineyards. The only issue I had considering the price per night was minor damages that should have been fixed such as the mini fridge door coming off its hinges. Overall great stay and will definitely recommend. "

"Spent one night here with friends as we drove through the area. Both our rooms were very clean and comfortable. We both stayed in Luxury King Suites. Absolutely no complaints or criticisms. The Horatio management have obviously developed a good system, and it works!"
