10/10 Excellent

"Room was clean and beds were very comfortable; Although my room was near the elevator and ice machine, there was very little noticeable noise. Over the weekend, nearby on-street parking can be found. The T station is right across the street and is very convenient to get to/from Pirates & Steelers games. Short walk to Duquesne University. Short walk to various restaurants."

"I had to try my key several times before the lock turned green and I could enter. Once inside, I found that the smoke detector was beeping. A maintenance person came and fixed it immediately. The air conditioning in the room was great, very effective. The TV was amazingly large (48") and WIFI was included with no password. I brought a double USB "brick", and it was easy to plug in my devices. The bed was quite firm and the covers were heavy. Not my favorite covers. There was an excellent office chair. The corner chair looked shabby. I didn't use the pool or stay for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would probably stay there again. I was happy to find a traffic signal at the junction with Rodi Road, so it was easy to exit."

"Note: the executive stay hotels don’t have daily room service. Late check out is noon. This is outside a busy downtown bus stop with vagrants. Staff was very understanding despite Expedia misbooking the studio suite and bedroom suite. Apparently, Expedia needs to clarify this for bookings. Central location in downtown Pittsburgh, adjacent to the State Park and Market Square. About $15-$20 Uber/Lyfts to neighboring spots like the Strip, Oakland, and Lawrenceville. Somewhat walkable downtown but not many street level shops. A few city bike rental stops run through PBSC, though not very many across the city. Okay food scene, coming from SF/NYC."
