"I did not use the pool or hot tub. I was there one night for a doctor's appointment. It was clean, safe, quiet and easy to get to. The price was right also. Recommended to my brother the very next week and he stayed there also for medical reasons. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"Impeccably clean and friendly staff in all areas of the hotel. Dinner from the restaurant (we ordered room service,) was tasty and prompt. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, however. The pricing of breakfast ($17.99 pp) would lead a person to believe that the breakfast buffet would be good, but in reality, it's just a hot continental breakfast that comes standard at other hotels. It is my only complaint of the trip. "

"Average hotel- some areas have been updated but not all. Oddly, had to pay the bill in-full at check-in, which I did not appreciate. Good breakfast- kids enjoyed the waffles and eggs each morning. Pool needed to be cleaned (filter wasn’t working very well) when we initially got there, but seemed to have been cleaned a few days after we arrived. We reserved the ‘family suite’ which had 2 king beds (nice for sleeping) but felt cramped due to lack of storage/hangers for our things (only 1 small closet). "

"Recently travelling across the U.P. reviewing new nest locations, my wife and I have stayed a few times and have always been pleasantly surprised by the staff with quiet rooms, secure parking, pet friendly and cost effective view of Superior lake some 100 feet away."

"This property was completely under renovation. The staff was absolutely tremendous and made accommodations for me at a different hotel. However pool/ hot tub and breakfast were out of commission… they were charging there normal rate, "
