The entire facility was great from the accommodations, breakfast, cleanliness, the room with the large balcony and the entire staff from housekeeping, breakfast lady and the front desk, everyone was exceptional

Quality stay in Nazare

In Nazare for just the weekend. The Hotel Mare was in a convenient central location, clean and new feeling and the staff was helpful and courteous.

We stayed here for the second time and it was lovely. It’s a lovely hotel in the heart of Nazare. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. Views from the balconies is so beautiful. Also, if you’re driving in, they have parking available at a lot close by. Would definitely visit again!

The hotel itself is fine, but the parking situation was terrible. Closest parking we could fine was a 15 minute walk from the hotel. I would not stay here again for this reason.

The only negative I have is the noise level in the evening. Our unit faced the street and from 10 pm onwards you could hear traffic, talking and music. I'm a light sleeper so it was a big issue for me.

Room was clean, staff was friendly and allowed me to store my bags while awaiting check in. On site breakfast was standard fare but the view is very nice. Location is convenient to the beach, numerous good restaurants, and the stairs up to Praia do Norte. Excellent views from the room

Lovely little room with a cute balcony with a partial ocean view. Stayed on a Saturday night and the nightclub next door was very loud until about 3 am. Too loud to sleep. Sur condition g in the room did not work.

We loved the location of this hotel, and its walkability and proximity to all the local attractions and beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the morning breakfast was tasty. The only negative is the fact that the bed was a double mattress and felt very small.

This is a great place to stay for an introduction to Nazare. Lots of dining options and cocktail bars in walking distance. It is also a short walk to the funicular that takes you to the top of the cliffs to see the church and lighthouse.
