"The location is amazing, very peaceful, surrounding villages are stunning, overall a great location. The hotel, though, was quite old and run down. We booked as thought to be family and child friendly but it seems more targeted for senior visitors. The swimming pool was a good surprise, nice and big, perfect for the hot weather. The main problem was lack of air conditioning, it was a very hot day/night, making it impossible to sleep with the heat. "

"We had a nice stay at The Social Hub. The property was modern, very clean, and comfortable, and we especially loved the bath products—they smelled wonderful! For the price, we did expect a little more convenience and service, especially since you still need transportation to reach the main downtown area. Check-in felt a bit impersonal with the self-service station, and we had some trouble with our keys accessing the garage. We were also a little disappointed that after paying for overnight parking, we couldn't leave the car for a few extra hours after checkout. Overall, a lovely and clean property with a few small areas that could make the guest experience even better."

"El personal en general muy atento. Solo tuvimos inconvenientes al momento del desayuno , no atendían , estaban sobrepasados y hasta me hablaron de mala gana cuando pedí agua caliente por q la dispuesta no lo estaba. Y me hicieron esperar 20 minutos. Luego todo el resto excepcional."

"As you will see from the other reviews the hotel is a bit delapidated, but our room was clean and comfortable. Comfy beds, excellent view, helpful staff. The pool was great, the kids loved it. Brilliant location near the beach and on a bus route. If you want a super smart hotel go somewhere else, but I thought it was fine."

"Great location! Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms with a sea view are to be recommended. Our classic sea view room was well appointed with a very restful and peaceful feel. Breakfast was good but the space available wasn’t really large enough and some people ended up eating in an area off the bar. Best to get there before 09.00 to avoid this."

"The staff were exceptional—they accommodated our request to switch to a different floor, which we really appreciated. We also accidentally left an item in our room after checking out. The hotel promptly contacted us, and we were able to pick it up when we returned to San Sebastián later that week. We were very grateful for their honesty and excellent service. The location is great and made it easy to explore the city. The only minor downside was the garbage bins at the front /side of the hotel, which slightly detracted from the entrance."
