"Great overnight stay at The George Hotel which is centrally located in the city and within walking distance of all the shops and attractions. Room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Staff welcoming and helpful and would recommend to others and return if staying in the area again"
"Nice Clean room staff very nice and friendly welcoming only things which could be improved on are the main carpets in corridors look a little tired but room was spotless and faultless. spot on and excellent value for money and no tea and coffee in room but they have made it free from bar downstairs. Id stay again without hesitation breakfast under £10 very good too "
"The bedding was inching it seems like it hasn’t been changed for a while and there was no towels and tissues in the bathroom. The breakfast was superb!"

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome – a special mention to Holly, who was absolutely fantastic and made such a difference to our stay. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with a great mix of character and comfort. We’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommended!"
