"We always love staying at Barcelo. It’s our go to hotel in El Salvador. The accommodations, service and breakfast buffet are excellent. The club level amenities are fantastic. "

"2nd floor room smelled awfully like cigarettes, could not sleep in it. Luckily the 3rd floor rooms are semi new , we all cramped in it. The toilet seat was loose, the blinds in the room were cut, you get no privacy if someone looks into the room from the hall. "

"worst stay. wedding right next to our room blasted music until midnight and we could hear staff cleaning up until 1:30 AM. Staff were unable to refund any night and we spent the next day exhausted."

"Really convenient location. We stayed here our first night in El Salvador and arrived late. Parking was a little tricky since our Spanish isn’t great but they helped us to the lot. It allowed us to stay one night in SAL and get up and do a quick tour of highlights on foot before we moved on. Small rooms, tiny bathrooms but it was fine. They could have had the ac turned on for us before we arrived …it was very hot in the room when we arrived with our luggage !"

"Pillows and pillow cases were stained. Even after requesting new ones they were stained. They did nothing but thank me for my comments. The hotel itself is nice and breakfast was good. Still, hygiene is very important, and I was very much displeased"

"It is very well located. 15 minutes walk to the beautiful historical center. Very nice area and very safe. "

"they have a few parking spaces but they do accommodate anyone. rooms are nice even know they are small. bathroom is more like a micro bath but nice compare to others"
