"I paid for breakfast to be included. Breakfast was from 6:30 am to 9:30 am but when we came down a 8:30 am they just ran out of food. They told us to come down early to get some food. One morning we asked for OJ and told us they ran out it. Interesting concept, come early to eat. "

"Breakfast was good, they had eggs, beans, fries plantines and sour cream. AC worked fine. The only issue was the shower was not draining normal, the water was getting accumulating so we had to tell the front desk twice to fix it.. The location was very close to the monument El Salvador del mundo. "

"Staff were not helpful. We stay to eat at one sushi restaurant inside but we order stake for dinner. Food was not cooked well and waitress didn't even came onces to check on as. I have to ASK multiple times for water. She didn't check on as about our food or drinks, but yet when it came to the tip it was included in tbe bill. We had no choice. Pool need to be clean. Lots of dead bugs in the pool. For a hotel that apparently is one of the best in el salvador. I would say absolutely NOT. Room was not worth the price. Shower was not the best. The day before we stay in the Hyatt in downtown, that was way better hotel by far. VERY disappointment experience."

"Hotel Barcelo is very good and very convenient access to many restaurants and the area , the staff very friendly and professional I want to thank Vilma, the lady who made me happy every time I returned and found the hotel room very clean and the bed impeccably beautiful."

"Clean and nice nothing especially espectacular , pricey if you book late. Centrally located in the historic district and best Starbucks in Latin America less than block "

"Nice place to stay, conveniently close (walking distance) from many stores and restaurants, and the El Salvador del Mundo monument park. The staff is very kind, respectful, and resourceful. Will definitely stay again if a nearby future. "

"Staff didn’t smile at me once during my 3 nights stay. Seems like they don’t want to talk to me or either helping me when im asking questions or help. They said good morning and enjoy your meal to others guests except me. No hot water, bugs in my room and the ventilator is broken, i had to temporarily fix it with my key. Not really recommending this place"

"Peaceful haven in central San Salvador, 10 minute walk to tourist attractions. Modern clean room. Excellent breakfast with a helpful host"
