"Lovely setting but no one there to give us the key even though we’d sent 2 emails requesting info regarding collection with time of arrival. Noise from 9pm TIL 4am so couldn’t sleep. Dog faeces on paths. Toilet broken. No microwave. Needs updating and cleaning of the shower room. Lounge and bedroom roomy and comfortable. "

"Room was spacious, clean and the en suite adequate. We ate an evening meal and the menu was varied, the food tasty. The bar has a warm atmosphere. All staff were friendly and helpful. The morning staff went out of their way to make us feel relaxed and special. They were chatty, helpful and efficient. Special thanks to them. Overall, our stay was comfortable and we would definitely return. The only negative is that everything looks a little tired and in need of some “tweaking”. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay."

"Lovely, boutique little place, rural and remote so peaceful but also makes it very hard to find..no signage and under a different name. The phone number didnt work and the Google maps location isnt quite right. Tv didnt work properly and there was no AC or fan which is probably usually ok but not hottest day of the year, but that couldnt be helped."
