"Had to call maintenance to come and fix tv. The toilet ran almost non stop! And it was very loud! And made it difficult to sleep! The hot tub wasn’t thoroughly cleaned prior to us being able to use it. So we had to clean it prior to using it. At about 9:30 a m the next day we had the do not disturb sign in the door. And there were still two interuptions he was from housekeeping unexpectedly We had a do not disturb sign hanging in the door. Also, overnight, the tv stopped working again. "The staff was amazing and very helpful. We needed two rooms close by or on the same floor and they made it work for us. The iron didn’t work in our room so I just took it to the front desk and they got me a new iron. The breakfast had various options and it was really good! I did not give them a 5 star ONLY because they were remodeling and it was a little on the messy side due to the remodeling BUT not their fault. That’s on the remodeling workers. It was a nice stay and huge rooms! We will definitely stop to stay there again!"

"Great staff, one of the few places where the front desk gave bottle water when asked. Have been to other hotels where they only give you one at checkin and that is it. One nit-pick the bathroom didn’t have a vent, so it got steamy. Next shower left the door opened a bit for steam to escape."

"The hotel was quiet and clean. They’re still doing renovations, but nothing noticeable. I only knew b/c of the signs posted. Bar/restaurant is nice. Staff very professional and courteous."

"It is important to know that there is no visible staff at this hotel. There is no check in counter, no one to help you or answer questions. The building is not accessible to anyone who needs help with stairs, carrying suitcases, etc. No one comes in to change linens, make the bed, etc. While it seems to be a historical site, it is not comfortable and lacks services that most travelers are used to."

"Sorry but your pillows are horrible. Too squishy. Soft whatever had to use 3 pillows. Neighbors were loud next to me and my tv wouldn't come on . All else good"
