The Empress is a MUST for anyone with an affinity for historical places and/or an appreciation for truly amazing architecture. The suites are gorgeous and the main house will leave you speechless. This is the perfect blend of a piece of history being well steward AND shared for others to enjoy. Well done!!! Highly recommend.

Very unique stay in a lovely old home. Nice and clean room. Very nice for a passing through one night stay. Walked down the hill to a nice small brewery. Not the Ritz but very nicely done, P.S. Just make sure you read the emails as you either get your codes or you cannot get in :) There is only help via phone calls as it is self check-in. Found out the hard way :)

This place is beautiful but needs a little TLC. Back entrance steps have holes/wood rot in them and the shower in my room did not drain properly. The place is quiet. I took advantage of every room and was able to work from my laptop in the women's parlor and library, which was a nice treat. The inside was expertly decorated and stunning.

The pictures of the inside of the mansion were accurate but we didn't stay in it as our room was the majestic room in the carriage house. The bedroom was beautiful and the bathroom was nice (but very dim lighting for trying to put on make up or fix your hair). The jacuzzi bathtub would have been great but not really big enough for two medium size adults. The bed was VERY comfortable. The floors are really creaky and loud. We could hear every move another guest made. The outside is a bit run down (not like in the pictures) and it's definitely not in the best of neighborhoods. The garden area is just a tiny clearing with a double bench seesaw rocker that looked to be broken and sunken into the ground, which was not at all inviting). There wasn't any staff, no one checked in with us, NO ice, we had to find a store nearby to get ice, absolutely no accesss to a kitchen. We didn't stay for breakfast so I cannot comment on that. So if you're just looking for a nice room to stay in and don't mind the creaks of an old house and neighbors, and aren't put off by a shady neighborhood. I highly recommend it. We won't be staying again.

One of the best places I've ever stayed

I've done a lot of traveling over the last few years, and this may be the best place I've stayed. The home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. You can almost feel the history of the place when you walk in. Great owners, wonderful rooms. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Staying at The Empress pf Little Rock was one of the most enjoyable things I have done in Arkansas. The staff was amazing. The attention to detail to bring you back in time was on point. The Empress is very luxurious and relaxing and is the prefect get away.

Antonio is charming and you will have a wonderful time. Keith is a gifted chef. Breakfast is well worth it. This is truly an experience that will bring you completely into another world and time. Lovely. Luxurious. Comfort in elegance.

This property is a very nice old mansion and just visiting is like being in a museum. Everything is 100 years old at least and the decoration of the house is magnificent. You have different options to stay, either in the main house or the carriage house. We were in the carriage house and it was really quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was the cherry on top. We will certainly go back

No longer served breakfast!!!!! We stayed here about 4 years ago when under different management and were given a full tour of this beautiful, historic home, and had the most delicious breakfast in one of the reception rooms, a table for two. So romantic! Well, new management has stopped serving breakfast and there’s none of the feel of enjoying the reception rooms to sit and read or talk or take in the atmosphere of the olden days. I’m sorry to say it’s now just an expensive hotel with nice furniture. The breakfast was why I booked. Expedia still hasn’t changed the description to reflect this so beware: NO LONGER A B&B. Expedia tried to argue b&b is a kind of accommodation but breakfast isn’t guaranteed: fortunately they gave in and gave me a part refund. I still can’t believe it: a b&b with no breakfast.

The Empress of Little Rock is our official “special occasions” stay when we are in the area. Antonio and Kieth are so sweet and genuinely interested in their patrons. The rooms are meticulous and have all the modern amenities, great style and decor, and they have added all the special touches to ensure your stay is perfect. This place is always worth the splurge and it’s nice to see a little bit of Little Rock history. Thank you, so much!! ❤️
