"Great property and location. Nice employees as well. Just understaffed at check-in, so check-in took almost 2 hours. Other than that, it was a great stay."
"Very good overall and would visit again. We travelled in July during the quiet season. The resort is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The flat was well equipped and the nearby grocery store made in-suite meals simple. The adjacent bars and restaurants offered a decent selection of meals at standard pricing (including options, though not many, for gluten-free). We enjoyed eating at The Pink Shack just off-site. The beach was great—never crowded during our stay with very good snorkelling. The marine life was incredible: sea turtles, stingrays, barracuda, nurse sharks and even a manatee that came right up to us in the lagoon. We didn’t bring our kids on this trip but there were other families whose children seemed to enjoy the water slides, pool and beach volleyball (we also saw a tennis and basketball court). Our only criticisms are the considerably older television in the room (World Cup matches had disappointingly bad clarity - not a huge deal for us but others may consider this important) and the presence of “evening ants” — lots of them. No idea where they came from or how they got inside the room but we’d see over a dozen or so in the evenings. We would go back during the off season, likely on our own again. Our teenager and early 20’s adult children would likely find the pace a bit too slow—for us it was perfect in its slowness. Overall 8/10."
"I stayed at Breezes from July 13–16, 2026, to celebrate my son's 17th birthday, and we had an amazing time! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the overall vibe of the resort was fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. We truly felt like we were on vacation from the moment we arrived.
The only downside was the condition of the hotel rooms. They are quite outdated and could definitely use some renovations and modern upgrades. While the rooms were clean, refreshing them would make the overall experience even better.
Despite that, we had a wonderful stay and created great memories celebrating my son's birthday. I would definitely stay at Breezes again and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, laid-back getaway with excellent service."
"The front desk staff were incredible. They were helpful in finding places to eat and ways to get around to various destinations. The breakfast was predictable in a good way and helped start the day off on the right foot. Staff were responsive to requests for towels/bedding. The cold drinks in the lobby in the afternoon/evening were a great way to cool down on those hot days. The location is ideal for navigating the busy streets of Nassau. We had some issues with water coming into the room during a torrential downpour one early morning and housekeeping and maintenance were quick to resolve the problem. We had an evening flight and we were able to store our bags at the hotel until our taxi ride to the airport."
"We loved this place! It’s easy to write a review when every thing goes without a bump!
We had a bump nothing anyone could foresee and had to be fixed so we were given another room. Do NOT let that stop you, the quality of a place and staff is it usually felt when everything is perfect. It can be felt most often when things go wrong. This hotel and the staff made a snafu into a distant memory and went above and beyond.
Go for the beach club, the pool the restaurants and don’t sleep on the market and pizza place!
Stay for the quiet ease, the 2 level gym, 24hr pool and the spa with outdoor sauna and cold plungeIt was literally fantastic!
Teens would adore it ~ it’s got no water slides, rides or “Hollywood themes” and that’s what makes this amazing! The beach club watching World Cup matches with perfect waters and wonderful snacks can’t be beat!
We will definitely be returning! Ciao til next time!"
"I loved the Beautiful Ocean West Boutique Hotel it was like sleeping in your own Castle and the room was elegant. The bed was big and comfy made you feel like royalty. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The pool was pretty and fun to enjoy later in the day. The rooms in the hotel were all so unique and historical looking. Dinning room is also so beautiful. The stairway is gorgeous. The free wifi worked well but only on the floor you stayed on. Also nice parking area with gated community. The things I think could be improved is some of the amenities and service for example, when we arrived we had to drag up our own luggage after a long trip without any help up several stairs with no ac in this area. No free breakfast , no free bottle of water they wanted 3 dollar per bottle, no makeup remover wipes and very small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. It did have an a/c in the room, microwave and fridge. The bed was a little sandy from day one and we never went to the beach and the floor in the bathroom was dirty. They could offer more towels. There is not a trash outside anywhere and only one small trash can in the bathroom which made it hard to get rid of trash. I definely recommend this place purely because it's just such a beautiful place to stay. The service desk is very friendly and always there."
