It was a great price when we needed to pull over and sleep during a long drive visiting family. AC could not cool room on 2nd floor. Location is either a plus or huge minus depending on your perspective. For our family with little ones, we were apprehensive of people milling around outside from the bar next door all through the night. Staff was friendly and location looked to be getting remodeled some. I was shocked it had an 8.6 rating after seeing in person. I would say accurately say more like a 7.

The front desk staff were super friendly, definitely 5 star. Property was clean. Only complaint was that the room smelled like smoke, which I know of hard for the property to control and deal with but my allergies didn’t like it.

The overall stay at the hotel was great! The breakfast was prompt and good. Sometimes the staff would go missing and there would be long waits, but otherwise everyone was friendly, respectful and helpful. The hotel was OK but our room had a very musty smell. The windows were dirty. It was quiet which was surprising given the location. There is a bar/billiard hall next door which was packed (Saturday evening when we arrived). There were people walking around the area and patrons of the bar parked all along the road and into the hotel parking area. It felt very sketchy. It is located immediately along the highway which is convenient.
