"I booked two rooms, one for my mother and one for myself and my partner. At the time of her check-in there was something wrong with her room so they gave her an upgrade at no extra charge, which I thought was very considerate. Rooms were standard. This is an old building that has been remodeled. Our bathroom shower didn't have a floor barrier or door so all the water would spill out into the rest of the bathroom. They offer qtips, and other small toiletries, nothing excessive just basic items. The upgraded rooms offer slippers and robes. They do not have a self service laundry, but they do have a lift. Overall it was a decent stay. Thank you"

"This is an excellent hotel to stay in for visits to Vienna. We much liked its location, fairly central, easy to reach from the centre, in an interesting area and street, and close to public transport. The staff were very friendly and helpful and together create a very good vibe and ambience, which was relaxing for guests. The air conditioning in bedrooms was great and easy enough to operate. The garden area was peaceful and a nice place to sit in the heat. The bar had a good atmosphere and was a good place to end some days there. Food quality for breakfast is mostly very good, though there is no porridge! A 'must' in English hotels. We ate in a couple evenings, and the Wiener Schnitzel is apparently excellent (and large). There were some vegetarian options but my fish dish was better. Though there are room safes, our two were situated so high up we had to stand on a stool or chair to operate them. There is only one guest lift so one may hope it stays working during your stay. It was out of service for a few hours one afternoon but soon fixed. Overall, this is a hotel to be much recommended!"
