"Great location puts you right in the middle of 2 of the most popular areas. Grounds were clean, staff was friendly, had patio and barbecues, beach item rentals and everything you need. Pool was not very big but they did have 3 hot tubs."

"The room was in a great location with a great beach right across the street, food and coffee in walking distance! The condo was amazing, very clean big and bright, cool electric blinds plenty of space with kids. Full kitchen was awesome for some grocery shopping and cooking and the property grounds were beautiful"

"It’s a very nice unit pretty quiet also. Has everything you would need to make you feel comfortable from a washer dryer and everything you need to cook from pots to dishes to cups. The only drawback is there’s no air condition and for me if I would’ve known that, I would’ve never stated this place. That’s why I will not consider this place the sands of Kahana for my next Maui trip because it does not have any air-conditioning and it gets pretty hot even though you get some fans, but it is hot inside"

"We moved our stay at the Papakea resort. It was close to lots of things, very clean, and our room had a beautiful view. The light went out in our bathroom and the staff were quick to come and fix it which was great. A couple things that could be better with our specific room and not with the resort overall is that there was very little kitchen equipment and zero Tupperware containers. Lucky we weren’t planning to do very much cooking but it would’ve been a challenge if we had. The knives were super dull and had rust on them but we made due. Overall this is a great resort and we would come back but these are a couple things that if addressed would make this unit even better!"

"It was super clean. A little close to the roadway so you hear cars at night. NO AIR CONDITIONING. But the breeze blowing through the rooms is MORE than enough cooling. Overall 8/10"

"This place for our 20th wedding anniversary was such an incredible and wonderful experience for our family. The room was very nice and comfortable, with lots of unique features, like providing us with beach equipment to use. They were also so kind knowing it was a special vacation for me and my husband and gifted us a heartwarming letter with delicious chocolate. The entire resort was also very clean and neat, with a stunning view which made me take dozens of photos at a time. Overall, this resort was amazing for a vacation on Maui and I would love to come back another time. A big Thank you to all of the workers that made our vacation memorable!"
