"Reception was welcoming and efficient and there was plenty of parking when we arrived. There is a lift if you need it for luggage or simply to avoid the climb to either the first or second floor. "We had a fantastic stay at the Crown again. It’s ideal location, beautiful bathrooms and sunlit rooms make it the ultimate Napier stay for us. Friendly staff also rang to say we had left a wine cooler bag in the room and would they like us to send it back to Wellington for me ? That’s incredible service. When I left my togs in a room a five star hotel in Auckland said they never ring as it would take up too much of their time. "

"One of the nicer places I stayed in NZ, well equipped kitchen, comfortable room. Big supermarket nearby. Easily walkable to the sights of Napier and to the bus terminal. Nice building although the internal layout is a bit confusing."
