"A lovely B&B, the room was beautifully clean & well equipped, nice touches like fresh milk, sweet treats & bedside phone chargers which was really useful. The breakfast was amazing, locally sourced meat from the Butcher with some of the nicest black pudding I have tasted. The town and beach are all within walking distance and plenty of places locally to eat in the evening. Thank you Helen for a wonderful stay"

"We loved staying here - old establishment with so much history paired with modern, well kept rooms. If I could give the helpfulness of the staff 6 stars, I would. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for at every turn."

"A great experience - We would highly recommend Copper Beeches. The venue, quality of accommodation, the food, the welcome were all absolutely excellent. We couldn’t recommend it more highly."

"Likes- large room and bed. Character property and easy parking. Good breakfast.
Dislikes- TV no aerial connection and not tuned into any channels/apps asking for wifi details.
No bedside lights just roof light and large wall light not near bed."

"Great stay at the Shandwick. It was no-frills but ticked all the boxes; clean, warm, comfortable, convenient and safe. I can recommend it for an overnight stay.
My party did not eat at the hotel."

"The house and rooms were very clean so when I first went into the house, I was almost about to take off my shoes as a Japanese !!
I could sleep better here than anywhere else, even better than at my house.
Breakfast was also excellent. Haggis is now my favorite food ! Thank you for everything !!"

"Outside of hotel is iconic. Inside is ok. Central spaces are good. Rooms could be better.
Beds weer ok. Overall: you get what you payed for.
Breakfast. Was not good. Plundered by 3 coaches of pensionadas. After a bit waiting food was renewed but not great in quality."
"We loved our stay at the Columba Hotel! The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was clean & cozy. The bed & pillows were really comfortable . We’ve been to other hotels where the pillows were ultra thin. Sounds silly , but the thin pillows affected my sleeping. One thing I loved was how peaceful the rooms were, you couldn’t hear other guests. We also had a great view of the river."
The Glen Mhor Hotel and Uile-bheist Brewery & Distillery
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is very close to the busy center of town and right across the street from the river. The room was clean and had more than adequate space for two. The hotel did not provide shampoo, so bring some. The breakfast buffet was filling."
River Ness Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful location, right in the heart of town and yet the room was so quiet. We faced the street side, but could not hear any traffic or noise of any kind. Our room was spacious, clean, and well stocked with complimentary water and wine in the fridge. Staff were absolutely wonderful! We did not end up having the breakfast, but our friend did, and she raved about it – especially the fresh fruit."
