Staying at the Richmond Hotel Nagoya was an absolute pleasure! From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, offering truly amazing hospitality that went above and beyond. The room itself was immaculate—sparkling clean and surprisingly spacious for a city hotel. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including plenty of charging ports and a good selection of toiletries. The location is excellent, being so conveniently close to Nagoya Station, which made exploring the city and surrounding areas a breeze. This was a good base for various day trips around the region - and like all Richmond Hotels I have stayed in a comfortable and pleasant stay with helpful staff and a reasonable-sized and well played out room. It was just a short walk to Nagoya Station

Very clean, convenient area! Wasn’t expecting hotel room to be as clean and comfortable. Clean towels, spacious bathroom, comfortable pyjamas etc. staff was extremely hospitable as well. Didn’t get to use this time but restaurant becomes a lounge at night with free drinks! Would definitely try out the same hotel in different locations.

This hotel is just a 5–8 minute walk from the train station, which made it easy to get around. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the concierge staff were friendly and helpful. The room had a nice high-end Toto toilet, and there was plenty of space under the bed for storing luggage. We also appreciated the wide selection of free personal items in the lobby, along with complimentary drinks like coffee, tea, juice, and water. The only downside was the washer/dryer combo—it takes 120 minutes to complete a cycle, and even then, the clothes came out damp. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay with great service and thoughtful extras—just be ready to air dry your laundry.
