"This was a surprise delight. My family stayed here on our journey between Basel and Munich and found the area lovely, with loads of scenic walks. The hotel is clean and the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the village. The bed was on the firm side, but the room’s temperature was not too hot. "The rooms are a bit run down with bathroom facilities and lighting that are still in the 70s. The hotel says has a wellness center with pool, but this is an overstatement. The pool is maybe 10 mt long, the sauna is ok, the changing room is something between a storage room and a doctor's. the restaurant is ok, but nothing special with the waiting staff that could be more friendly "

"We had a wonderful stay at Waldhotel Luise! The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and very nicely designed - a mix of cozy/rustic and modern feel. The breakfast was great, staff were friendly, and the hotel overall was really nice! It was a great base for us to visit the Black Forest area. Would recommend"
