Scam.

Don’t book your stay if your children are 12 years or more and you book it with breakfast. Then you have to pay extra for them when you arrive at the hotel. There are not any information about the age when you book your room.

This hotel has declined!

My family and I lived at this hotel for 3 months back in 2008 and we throughly enjoyed it. We’ve been back a few times since and it was always a great place to stay. However, this time wasn’t so pleasurable. We noticed a decline in service. For example, breakfast, which we paid for, was very disappointing. They offered the same items every day. The breakfast now is what you get at an “breakfast included “ hotel.

We booked this last minute to have a restful night sleep , because of traffic we were delayed and came very late. We were very tired and just wanted a clean bed , my daughter had found hair in the quilt and the hotel room was smelly so was the hallway, it smelled of damp. If we hadn’t been dead tired we would have gone somewhere else or asked for another room. We had such a long shower to feel fresh again and put our dirty clothes in strong bags to ensure we did not bring anything back. The breakfast was also very limited and the noisiest waiter a large & tall gentleman kept banging plates and cups etc it was not enjoyable at all! We would definitely never go back here. It is such a shame as the general area looked very nice.

This is certainly not a 4-star hotel. Barely a 3. Surrounded by construction and the highway it's not a vacation spot. Also, I believe there is an immigration facility right next door due to the amount of middle eastern men lingering about outside at all hours. Felt unsafe to walk around. There is a 15 euro a day charge for parking however the barrier was up almost all the time. Hotel staff made us come to the front desk to retrieve extra pillows, more coffee pods, clean cups. They don't deliver to your room. The small restaurant and bar had a limited and expensive menu. They really push the breakfast buffet but at 25 euros didn't look worth it. The AC in the room barely kept up. All in all not a great experience and not someplace I would stay again.

Wir sind nun mehrmals schon im Mercure Hotel gewesen und sind jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Besonders gut finden wir die Frühstücksauswahl. Die Kinder sind jedes mal vom Pool beigeistert, was toll wäre dass der Pool geheizt wird, er ist sehr kalt.

Not a great place to stay. The hotel is next to a loud road, and in summer with the window open (due to the temperature) it's difficult to sleep. The bed is also very uncomfortable (the mattress is very hard). What annoyed me the most was the surprise of having to pay 15 euros to park my car overnight, even though the hotel has plenty of their own parking. They also charge 3 euros to use an umbrella. It used to be these were things you would expect a hotel to provide, and I would still expect that standard from a Mercure. Disappointing to have all these hidden costs for such an uncomfortable room.
