Shiganoyu Hotel

Shiga Highlands
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (8)
"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! Uotoshi Ryokan

2.5 star property
Yamanouchi
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (49)

There is a Kyudo (Japanese archery) range behind the Ryokan which has classes taught by the owner as well as area competitions. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed...
