"I'd heard so many good and bad that I wasn't sure if wanted to stay but we did. It is an older establishment but the staff do their best to keep it up. Some furniture was worn but clean and functional. House keepers were wonderful...shout out to Katrina our housekeeper, Outstanding. And Katrina in Reception also Outstanding! IMPORTANT NOTE: we were told to digitally give tips to our housekeeper but we didnt have the machine in our room, so we gave ours directly to her. Someone evidently is going in before the housekeepers and getting the tips left in room. Not nice people earn that. Anyway loved our stay and the staff we interacted with. P.S. rooms were clean and the only problem was the fridge; it would make loud bangs like someone throwing rocks at it. We let front desk know so that they can change it out."

"The trains were a near deal breaker. My traveling companion was in a room on the opposite side and said he had road noise. If you are looking for a quiet room this is probably not the choice. Otherwise a beautiful room and amenities."
