"Overall our stay was very great. We had to check in super late because of our traveling schedule and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was actually good. Most hotels have a very poor continental breakfast but this one was actually legit. The only bad thing that I can say about our stay is that I did pay extra for a room with a balcony and when we arrived the room was overall clean but it was clear that nobody had been out on the balcony and quite some time. It was very dirty and it was covered in cobwebs and bugs. I understand that this is near a wooded area and should expect some bugs but it seemed like nobody had checked the balcony in a while. Still an overall great stay and I would come back"

"Exceptionally clean, well maintained motel with a quiet setting. Rooms are spacious. Short drive to Virginia Creeper trailhead in town for an AM jog. This is my second stay at Alpine Motel, and I will definitely book again when in the Abingdon area."

"We had a wonderful time. The inside was absolutely beautiful. We were not lacking for anything. The host and hostesses were very nice and we really did enjoy our stay and slept like babies. The only thing I have a suggestion about is that when you first pull up it does not have any curb appeal which may turn people off. You wouldn't know that it was a bed and breakfast from the outside"

"Second time staying at this hotel. It’s close to the Back of the Dragon. Hotel room was clean, bed and pillows are very comfortable. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Location is close to Walmart, McD’s and Hardee’s. Will definitely come back again."
