We loved the vibe of this historic hotel and its Swamp Fox Bar. We loved the nearby niche places to eat - The Wooden Pickle, Macado’s (pronounced macka-doos), and Sister’s Cafe. We were only in town for the weekend, but will stay there again for more sight seeing, dining, etc.

The only change i would have liked more was parking. We were on motorcycles and we were lucky to get the last parking space while there. However i do inderstamd the is no option to expand, so not the hotels fault. Overall great stay. Loved the staff!

This was amazing old hotel with a ton of history. It is in walking distance to a ton of shops and restaurants and in close proximity to multiple state parks and recreational areas. The staff was extremely accommodating with any request I had. Also, with its close proximity to US81, it makes for a great place to stay. I would highly recommend this location for a stay. Cheers!
