"I chose this hotel due to its location, being right in the centre of the town, so we could walk to restaurants and pubs in the evenings, with the cost being reasonable. The breakfast was a bit expensive, but there are various cafes only a short walk away which are cheaper, so you could go for the room only option. Ask for a room at the back, as the front rooms are facing onto the junction of the main pedestrianised area and through road, so it can get a bit noisier at night at the weekend.

"Our host Jenny was brilliant.
There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well.
The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure.
Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help.
Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton.

"Only stayed one night, and they accommodated a very late check-in of 2:30am due to a delayed flight. When we woke up we were able to appreciate the gorgeous scenery. Rooms were clean and they provide coffee, tea and creamer in the room. "

"The room was large and spotless. What stood out was the excellent customer service by the front desk person Zach. He was extremely helpful during our two nights. I would recommend this hotel to any visitor to Winchester."
"Check in fast, friendly efficient.
Room exceptionally clean.
Restaurant, visually a little tired. Restaurant staff absolutely made up for that - friendly, and willing to go the extra mile.
Food was really good, small menu - but with our party of 10 - cooked to perfection, and served promptly, even though the rest of the restaurant looked busy as well.
Bar staff, very friendly.
Special mention to Jeven who kept up with our large group orders, in the evening (Saturday 1st November)"
"Everything when we arrived late was explained via email and made it easy to get in and when we left it was faultless for the money we will come again definitely "
