"Stay was great! Everyone was very helpful and answered every question we had. The room was clean and cleaned well daily. The amenities were great. Though we did not try the food and cannot speak on that, the minibar was stocked with the typical things for free which was nice."

"Lisa at the front desk was the best. My wife and I arrived at the hotel around 7 AM because we came from the US overnight, and although we tried to sleep on the plane we couldn’t, and needed to kill time until house keeping had readied the room. She graciously took our luggage in and prioritized our room being ready sooner than the agreed upon 3 PM check-in. The spot was clean, prices fair, and the breakfast was excellent."

Only real downside (and it wasn't), it's not the place if you're looking for a quiet place to rest. The Victoria is right in the middle of the "action" part of town. It's close to the AM Main train station and many restaurants and cafes. The Main River is a shot walk away. Would stay here again if given the opportunity,"
