"We stayed at Hotel Gounod for one night in September! It was so pleasant. From the easy check in, clean room, great breakfast in the AM, and its location … we loved it! They even held our bags for us after check out until we were ready to leave Nice. I would definitely recommend!"

"An excellent hotel within easy walking distance to the beach and numerous shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, spotlessly clean - would highly recommend and would love to return. "

"The hotel location was absolutely perfect—we had an ocean view, and it was amazing to wake up every morning to the beautiful Nice Beach right in front of us. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; when we asked them to book a taxi to the airport, they handled it immediately.
Our room was a great size for three people—very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for our three suitcases. The breakfast was also a great convenience and added a nice touch to our stay.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely go back!"
"I stayed one night in this hotel in Nice.
It is a nice hotel. The room was very nice and spacious with nice bathroom and very comfortable bedding.
Breakfast was also good.
The only disappointment I has was that I had a late flight and asked if as Expedia platinum member I could check out later. The lady at the reception was not so friendly and said I could stay only 30 minutes longer !
I did not find the hotel so busy and full and allowing to have a later check out would have been nice and I would have come back to this hotel. But I don’t think I will again unfortunately! "
"Loved the location on the Promanade!
Easy to walk to the restaurants in old nice and one minute walk to the beach!
Staff incredibly friendly and helpful
Very knowledgeable and spoke English (very helpful for us!!)
Rooftop bar and pool quite lovely
Beautiful space to watch the sunset!!
Would highly recommend!"
"I had a little issue with my room key on the 1st night but the manager fixed this promptly & also upgrade me to a suite to compensate for this. The staff are very friendly & very helpful. Great location & the best balcony views of the sea"
"Pretty room, nicely decorated, but the standout feature for this hotel is the staff, from reception desk to breakfast to housekeeping, everyone is friendly and helpful"
"The pictures are very accurate, but much better in person. Very modern, chic, and clean. My favorite part was how the hotel had beautiful spreads of fruits, nuts, and pastries every day. They also had unlimited coffees, teas, detox waters, etc, available 24/7. The cafe/office space was so clean, and always full of people working, which I enjoyed so much. It was quiet and so peaceful. "
"Best Hotel in Nice
Amazing location as well as beach club in front
Yes you pay like 50 euros pp extra but it is what it is. Historic Hotel ( I believe the first in Nice ) Gorgeous art work. Staff very attentive and friendly. If in Nice the Best place to stay hands down. "
"Ideal location right next to iconic Hotel Negresco. Charming rooms and delicious breakfast. The outdoor patio is a good place to have coffee or read a book. 7 min walk from the beach."
