"Breakfast was a bit shambolic. Scrambled egg, bacon, mushrooms and sausage for a cooked option is lacking somewhat. Even with such little hot selection it was rarely replenished meaning a wait. When the hotel is full, they'll never cope with thr size of the kitchen and the restaurant.
That was the only disappointing thinking. Other than that, a faultless stay. "
"This is a beautiful boutique hotel run by a family. They prepare a delicious breakfast for all the hotel guests each morning. The area around the hotels has absolutely stunning views. There are a couple local restaurants they recommend and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. This best prices of the 6 cities we visited in Portugal. "

The only odd thing was that the hairdryer cord is short & doesn’t stretch close to the mirror. There’s no extension lead or plug point close enough, so you have to dry & style your hair without a mirror. "
"Brand new designer hotel, with a very ‘woody’ theme. It’s all very stylish, and quite different. Staff were excellent, friendly reception, great barman, and helpful breakfast staff. The rooms are spacious with really comfortable beds, and super bathrooms. The included breakfast was very good, with a huge selection of hot and cold options, plus an amazing selection of pastries.
The only change I would make is to change the light levels at night to make the bar area more inviting.
Location wise it’s close to a tram stop, but Ubers are only €5 to the city centre ( €12 from the airport).
It’s a quiet business/residential neighbourhood, close to the FC Porto stadium, but there is an area 5 minutes walk away with several cafes and restaurants, which were all very nice around the Jardim Doutor Francisco Sá Carneiro.
