"Our stay at the Lalco Residency was very good. The staff were very kind and hospitable, the food was exceptional and the cleaners were amazing. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, and the theming was very homely. The pool was clean and surprisingly quiet, so you could swim your laps and have a good time. The Lalco was a short taxi or auto ride from two metro stations SEEPZ or Aarey JVLR or 15-20 mins from Andheri local station. As a family of four we would recommend the Lalco...

Where to stay in Mumbai

Find the best Mumbai areas and neighborhoods for the activities you enjoy most.

Colaba

The ample dining options and beautiful seaside views are top of the list for many visitors to Colaba. A stop by Gateway of India or Colaba Causeway might round out your trip.

Bandra West

Bandra West is Mumbai's hip cultural heart where Bollywood glamour meets bohemian charm. The iconic Bandstand and Carter Road promenades offer stunning Arabian Sea views and perfect sunset spots. Mount Mary Church draws pilgrims while Linking Road buzzes with shoppers. This stylish neighborhood balances local life with visitor appeal. Tree-lined streets showcase a mix of colorful Portuguese-era homes and modern towers. Vibrant cafes, boutique shops, and street food vendors create an eclectic scene. Artists, celebrities, and young professionals all contribute to Bandra's creative energy.

Juhu

Juhu pairs Mumbai's glamorous film culture with a stunning beachfront playground along the Arabian Sea. Bollywood celebrities' homes dot this upscale neighborhood where the golden sand of Juhu Beach meets luxury high-rises. Visitors can explore the gleaming white ISKCON Temple or catch performances at Prithvi Theatre. The beach buzzes with food vendors selling Mumbai's famous street snacks and offering horse rides at sunset. Upscale hotels feature rooftop lounges with ocean views while morning joggers enjoy peaceful shoreline walks. Palm-lined streets and manicured gardens create a tropical resort atmosphere just minutes from the city's busy center.

Nariman Point

Mumbai's financial powerhouse, Nariman Point dazzles with sleek skyscrapers housing the Bombay Stock Exchange and Reserve Bank of India. Marine Drive's iconic waterfront promenade curves along the Arabian Sea, offering spectacular sunset views. Luxury hotels like the Trident and Oberoi cater to business travelers with upscale dining. Wide boulevards and manicured landscaping create an orderly atmosphere that contrasts with Mumbai's typical energy. The district quiets after business hours, though the waterfront remains popular for evening strolls. High-end restaurants serve refined international and Indian cuisine in sophisticated settings.

Powai

Powai offers a peaceful retreat from Mumbai's chaos with its scenic lake views and modern amenities. The neighborhood centers around beautiful Powai Lake, where morning walks along waterfront paths reveal mist rising off the water. Upscale residential towers and corporate buildings create a striking skyline against natural surroundings. This planned community balances business and recreation perfectly. Visit the prestigious IIT Bombay campus or shop at Galleria Mall's international boutiques. Powai's gardens provide green spaces for relaxation while nearby Sanjay Gandhi National Park offers more adventurous outdoor activities. The area remains notably quieter than central Mumbai.

"Wow. Taj hospitality at it's best. Great location just outside Cuffe Parade Metro Station. You can go almost anywhere in Mumbai from there. Really quick service. Stayed in 5 star hotels around the world. Can honestly say that this has amongst the most attentive service anywhere. One small issue. Please provide and allow drinks service on the lobby area when entertaining guests. We were told that we had to take our guests into one of the restaurants to prove them with drinks. They were only visiting for half an hour."
